OKC’s young and hip will tell you that the places to see and be seen are Film Row and the Plaza District. Both have risen from disrepair to become two of the city's most desirable areas for local businesses. The Plaza, named for the Plaza Theatre building, has completely transformed an entire neighborhood, due in large part to the tight knit community of merchants and business owners who have set up shop there. Every month, Live on the Plaza hosts an art walk featuring local artists and live music. Film Row has seen a lot of growth the past couple years as well, spawning several city hotspots for unique nightlife. The brand new 21c Museum Hotel has been a welcome addition to the area, further contributing to the district’s artistic urban vibe.
